Certifications
Not only does Spring Street Analytical do private well testing, many of our clients require a certified laboratory to perform water analysis. Our lab is certified under the Oregon Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ORELAP) ID# OR100034 and California Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) Certificate #2596 which requires environmental testing laboratories to meet the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) Standards.
The certification process requires the lab to maintain a Quality Systems Manual, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’S), perform demonstration of capabilities (DOC’s), perform Limit of Detection studies (LOD’s), participate in proficiency testing twice a year, perform yearly internal audits, and have on-site assessments performed by state auditors every other year.
Under this program Spring Street Analytical is certified for potable water methods under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and non-potable water methods under the Clean Water Act (CWA).
